Independent Validation of Foundational Cybersecurity Controls

2025

Intelassist has achieved IASME Cyber Baseline certification, an independent cybersecurity standard issued by IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) that confirms an organization meets established baseline requirements for information security and data protection

Cyber Baseline is designed to assess whether an organization has appropriate foundational controls in place to manage cybersecurity risk. The certification evaluates policies, processes, and governance practices that support the protection of sensitive information across the organization

For clients and shareholders, this certification provides third- party confirmation that Intelassist has implemented core cybersecurity measures aligned with recognized assurance frameworks. The certification applies to the organization as a whole and is subject to annual review to ensure continued compliance

Cybersecurity is not a onetime exercise; it’s a discipline,” said Tristian Jeff Mababa, Head of IT at Intelassist. “Achieving IASME Cyber Baseline certification validates that

we have the core controls in place and the governance mindset required to protect data responsibly as we continue to scale.”

In an environment where data protection and thirdparty risk management are increasingly critical, IASME Cyber Baseline offers independent validation that Intelassist approaches cybersecurity with structure, accountability, and ongoing oversight.

Howl-o-ween Trick or Treat

October 25, 2025

Intelassist hosted its Howloween Trick or Treat event at the 18th Floor, welcoming the children of employees for a fun, safe, and inclusive Halloween celebration

Designed with families in mind, the event provided an opportunity for children to participate in festive activities while allowing employees to connect outside of their dayto- day roles. By creating space for families to be part of company traditions, Intelassist reinforced a culture that recognizes employees not only as professionals, but as individuals with lives beyond the workplace

The event was hosted by Merlenie Mendoza from the HR team, whose energy and engagement contributed to a welcoming and lively atmosphere. With participation from employee families and a manageable, intimate group size, the gathering emphasized connection, safety, community

For leadership, events like Howloween reflect a broader peoplefirst philosophy. Familyinclusive initiatives help strengthen engagement, reinforce belonging, and support longterm retention by acknowledging the role families play in an employee’s success. These moments, while informal, contribute meaningfully to a stable and connected organization.

Camille Manalo, Training & Quality Supervisor

October 2025

When you step into one of Intelassist’s training sessions, there’s a good chance you’ll be greeted by the upbeat energy of Camille Manalo (a.k.a. Cams). As the Training and Quality Supervisor, Cams wears many hats: she oversees new hire and upskill classes, cocreates training materials, and leads with a genuine passion for helping others grow. On top of that, she’s deeply involved in the Quality Team, handling leadership, reporting, and QA analysis

Cams first joined Intelassist through a referral from her friend -now managerManny Juliano II. What convinced her to stay was something she says is rare in most workplaces: The caring work environment. Our team feels more like a big group of friends who support each other’s growth.”

One of her most memorable experiences was being part of a major client project that involved transitioning to a new set of tools. It was a challenge, but one that came with plenty of rewards. “We were among the first to train on and test the tools,” she recalls. “Working alongside such talented and encouraging people made the experience even better.”

Cams approaches her role with optimism and a commitment to Intelassist’s culture of excellence. She believes in leading by example, communicating openly, and encouraging collaboration in everything she does. A piece of advice that’s shaped her journey is to focus on progress, not perfection.” It’s a mindset that’s helped her grow into a more adaptable and confident leaderone who’s unafraid to embrace mistakes as stepping stones.

Coming from larger BPO companies, Cams finds Intelassist’s culture refreshingly personal. She shares, “The management and leadership here always make sure we feel seen, valued, and appreciated. That’s what sets this company apart

Outside of work, Cams is a proud Kpop fan, especially of the group Twice, whose music she finds therapeutic. When she’s not catching a performance video, she loves spending time with her parents in Quezon Province. “Balancing work and life has never been a challenge,” she says with a smile. “Our team always remind us that after our shift ends, our real life begins, and we should live it happily.”

Cams also gives credit to the people who helped shape her Intelassist journeyManny, Angel, Medsal, Donna, and Rowena for their guidance, support, and friendship throughout her growth from trainer to supervisor

When asked for advice for new employees, her message is simple but sincere: Take things one step at a time and don’t be shy to ask questions. Everyone started somewhere, and we’re all here to help. Work is so much easier (and more fun!) when you have people to lean on

And while she might not describe herself as fearless, Cams has come a long way from the person who once worried about failure. “Before I joined Intelassist, I was scared of the unknown,” she admits. “But this team taught me that trying and failing together is all part of learning and I’m still learning from them every day.”

Gil Olmedo, Lead Estimator

November 2025

Since joining Intelassist in 2012, Gil has steadily grown from an entrylevel estimator into the team’s Lead Estimator, a role he has carried with quiet confidence since 2019. In his day- today, he oversees the flow of all estimate and quote requests, assigns tasks to the appropriate team members, ensures deadlines are met, and steps in when projects become complex. Whether troubleshooting, guiding teammates, or handling highlevel requests from Territory Managers, Gil is the person the team trusts to get it right

Funny enough, he never expected to end up here. He simply tried his luckwhen he applied, unsure of what would come next. What made him stay wasn’t just the work -it was the people. Supportive leaders, kind colleagues, and a culture that recognizes effort and rewards growth. That’s what turned a job into a decadelong career

One project stands out as a defining milestone: a major $5M project on Wall Street in New York that took 123 revisions over more than 10 years before it was finally awarded in 2024. Gil handled the estimation from start to finish, and the experience taught him something no training manual could: some wins take time, patience, and unwavering belief

Gil leads the same way he workscalm, reliable, respectful, and aligned with the SOPs that keep the team sharp. For him, leadership isn’t about talking louder; it’s about showing up, staying grounded, and letting your output speak

His guiding advice, passed from a mentor, remains simple but powerful: You can do it. Be yourself, stay humble, work in silence, and let your results do the talking.” It’s a philosophy he has carried from day one, and one he hopes younger teammates embrace as well

When asked what makes Intelassist different, Gil points to the culture. The positivity. The motto. The way the company uplifts its people and truly lives the Nowhere to go but upmindset. Here, effort is seen, talent is nurtured, and growth is shared

Outside of work, Gil’s world is all about family. Weekends mean gardening, mall walks, park days, and church visits- balance that keeps him grounded in what matters most

And if you ask him for a final tip, he’ll tell you straight: Be yourself, stay humble, work in silence, and let your results do the talking.”

Donna Ramirez, Quality Analyst

December 2025

Donna Ramirez has been part of Intelassist since 2021 and started her journey as a member of the pioneer team for our electronic appliance account. Today, she’s part of the Training and Quality team, where she supports quality initiatives and helps improve how things run day to day.

What she enjoys most is knowing her work actually makes a difference. Being part of a team that’s focused on growth and longterm success makes the job feel meaningful and rewarding for her

What brought Donna to Intelassist was the chance to grow, but what made her stay is the people. “The support system, the constant learning, and the familylike culture make the company feel like more than just a workplace.” she says. It’s a place where she feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to become better over time

One piece of advice that really stuck with Donna was to step outside her comfort zone. That mindset pushed her to try new roles, take on new challenges, and trust herself more. Because of that, she discovered strengths she didn’t even realize she had and gained confidence along the way.

When things get challenging, Donna stays motivated by focusing on the impact of her work and the support she gets from her leaders and teammates. Knowing she’s not alone and that there’s always room to learn and improve helps her keep a positive outlook, even on tougher days

Outside of work, Donna considers herself an introvert and enjoys quiet time at home to relax and recharge. She’s also a proud fur mom, which she shares in common with her manager, Manny Juliano II. They often bond over pet stories, funny moments, and the ups and downs of fur parenting. It’s one of those little connections that makes work relationships feel more personal and genuine

For new hires, Donna’s advice is simple. Be open to learning, believe in yourself, and don’t be afraid to try something new. Intelassist gives you the support and tools you need, but growth starts when you take that first step. Your journey here is yours to shape, so stay curious and make the most of it

The support system, the constant learning, and the familylike culture make Intelassist feel like more than just a workplace.
