Hopping Into the Holidays with Intelassist’s Easter Egg Hunt

April 1–10, 2026

The halls of Intelassist came alive with egg-citement from April 1 to 10, 2026, as the company hosted its Easter Egg Hunt, a festive employee engagement event that brought laughter, movement, and a welcome break from the everyday work routine.

The event kicked off with a brief opening message that set the tone, reminding employees that the activity was as much about togetherness as it was about fun. A set of fair and clear mechanics ensured everyone had an equal opportunity: each participant was allowed to collect a maximum of two eggs, no coaching or assistance from others was permitted, and employees were restricted to collecting eggs only within their assigned floors.

With 300 Easter eggs carefully hidden across the three floors, the hunt encouraged employees to step away from their desks, explore their workspaces, and engage with their surroundings in a refreshingly playful way. The element of surprise in each egg kept excitement running high from the first find to the last. When all was said and done, every participant left with a smile, and a prize to show for it!

The Easter Egg Hunt is a reminder that workplace culture thrives when people feel seen, valued, and connected. Intelassist’s commitment to nurturing employee well-being,  especially during challenging times, continues to be one of its greatest strengths. Here’s to more moments like this, and to the many celebrations still ahead.

“Each egg holds a unique prize, so every find is a reward in itself. Enjoy the experience, respect the rules, and make the most of the moment.” – Participating team member

Special Shout-Out

A big thank you to every employee who joined in with enthusiasm and played by the rules. Your energy made the event what it was. Special recognition goes to the organizers and floor coordinators whose careful planning ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience across all levels. And to everyone who helped maintain order and fairness, thank you for making it a celebration that everyone could enjoy equally.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Ma. Theresa Tejerero, Account Resolution Specialist

April 2026

Theresa has spent over a decade making sense of complexity, reviewing claims, chasing discrepancies, and making sure the numbers actually match what was promised. It’s precise, patient work, and she’s built a quiet reputation for doing it well. This month, we’re proud to recognize her as our Trusted Partner Awardee.

She joined Intelassist as an Account Resolution Specialist, bringing her healthcare industry background into a role that demands both precision and persistence. Day to day, she reviews insurance claims with discrepancies, coordinates with insurers, and ensures payment details align with contract terms. Work that leaves little room for shortcuts.

One of her standout achievements was working through a high volume of complex claims with long-standing discrepancies. It required deep research, close coordination, and a thorough command of contract details. More than the technical challenge, it reinforced something she already believed: that clear communication and careful attention are what turn difficult cases into resolved ones. Seeing the direct impact on accurate reimbursements made the effort worthwhile.

Theresa came to Intelassist looking for a place to grow and put her experience to real use. What’s kept her here is simple: the people, the continued learning, and the satisfaction of delivering work she’s proud of.

Her motivation runs deeper than the job itself. She stays grounded in her family and the role her work plays in supporting them. When things get hard, she breaks the work into steps, stays organized, and leans on her team.

Outside the office, she spends time with family and unwinds with worship music. She’s intentional about leaving work at work, a boundary that keeps her present at home and steady at the desk.

She’s also quick to credit the people around her. The leaders and teammates who’ve supported her along the way are a real part of her story here.

Her advice to anyone starting out: stay open to learning, ask questions, and be patient with yourself. Growth comes with time, and there’s no shortcut worth taking.

Theresa’s tenure at Intelassist is a reminder that strong teams aren’t just built on results, they’re built on how people show up, day after day, for each other and the work.

With Love, to Every Mom in the IA Family

May 9, 2026

On May 9, the Intelassist HR team brought the warmth of Mother’s Day to the office with a celebration dedicated to all mothers and mother figures across the IA family. The activity centered on appreciation, gratitude, and recognition for the love, sacrifices, strength, and dedication that mothers carry every day, expressed through simple but thoughtful gestures.

One choice shaped the celebration from the start: the team wanted every employee to feel included. Intelassist distributed essential oil giveaway tokens to all employees, not only mothers, as a shared symbol of care and appreciation.

The distribution filled the workplace with a joyful and heartwarming atmosphere. Employees received their tokens with smiles and genuine appreciation, and the organizers saw real happiness and warmth in their faces, making the day all the more meaningful and memorable.

The celebration also reached beyond the office walls. Intelassist launched a virtual Mother’s Day activity on social media, inviting employees to share photos and videos of their own journey as a mother or to express love and appreciation for their mothers. The entries opened a window into the full experience of motherhood, from its sacrifices and fears to its joy and extraordinary emotion.

“We witnessed the joy, sacrifices, fears, and extraordinary emotions that come with being a mother through the heartfelt stories shared by our employees.” – HR Organizers

Together, the onsite and online activities turned a single day into a shared experience of connection and positivity across the company. Warm thanks go to every employee who joined the virtual activity and shared a piece of their story.

To all Intelassist mothers, and to the mothers behind them, we celebrate and honor you. We owe our lives, love, and strength to mothers everywhere for their endless sacrifices, care, and unconditional love.

Danica Ibay, Technical Support Drafter

May 2026

Danica has a habit of looking at a process and asking whether it can be done better. It’s the kind of instinct that makes her good at the detail-heavy work she does, and the kind that quietly makes things easier for everyone around her.

As a Technical Support Drafter, she focuses on processing wholesale orders: spec’ing them out, entering the details accurately, and checking everything against requirements before submission. It’s methodical work, and she approaches it with care. What keeps her going isn’t just the task itself. It’s the moment a KPI is met, a target is exceeded, and a client takes the time to say so. That recognition, she shares, is what pushes her to perform at her best and look for ways to keep growing.

This piece of advice has stayed with her throughout her career and shapes how she shows up every single day. It’s not about performing for an audience. It’s about building the kind of work ethic that holds up regardless of who’s paying attention, and that consistency has become one of her defining qualities on the team.

She came to Intelassist for the flexibility of working from home, but what’s kept her here for three years is something less expected: the atmosphere. She has never found the admins unapproachable or unkind. Mistakes, when they happen, are treated as part of the learning process rather than something to be penalized for. That kind of environment, she says, makes it easier to recover, improve, and keep moving forward with confidence.

When challenging moments come, Danica focuses on what she can control. She works through her tasks carefully, reflects on what she can learn, and channels her energy into doing better the next time around. It’s a grounded approach that has served her well, both professionally and personally.

Outside of work, Danica recently discovered Nordic walking and didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as she does. The poles engage almost the entire body, making it more of a full workout than a casual stroll. Finishing earlier because of her home setup gives her time to actually use, time to move, unwind, and come back the next day ready to focus again.

Her fun fact? She loves automation. Whenever there’s an opportunity to streamline something at work, she takes it. Finding smarter, more efficient ways to get things done isn’t just a preference for her. It’s genuinely how she thinks about her role.

“Be curious and don’t be shy to ask for help. We’re all literally waiting for you to ask!”

Her advice to new employees is as practical as she is: speak up when you have ideas, share suggestions without hesitation, and try to genuinely enjoy what you do. When you love your work, learning feels lighter, challenges feel more manageable, and every achievement becomes that much more rewarding.

Danica’s approach, precise, consistent, and always looking for a smarter way to get things done, is exactly the kind of thing that makes a team better without making a lot of noise about it.

HR 101 Leadership Refresher

May 15, 2026

On May 15, team leaders across the organization gathered virtually over MS Teams for HR 101, a focused refresher designed to deepen their understanding of their leadership roles and the key HR processes that keep teams running smoothly.

Ms. Angeline Cabrera led the main session as keynote speaker, walking participants through the central role team leaders play within the organization. Her discussion framed leadership as a shared responsibility built on accountability, communication, professionalism, and effective people management. From there, she guided the group through the core responsibilities of the role: performance management, people management, business alignment, and reporting and administration.

The conversation moved into the day-to-day realities of leading a team, covering attendance concerns, due process, incident reporting, confidentiality, onsite reporting requirements, the hybrid work setup, proper log-in and log-out procedures, and the broader workplace policies and HR compliance standards that hold everything together.

Wellness Webinar on Boosting Immunity Through Nutrition

May 15, 2026

On May 30, employees logged in over MS Teams for “Boosting Immune System Through Nutrition,” a wellness webinar built around a simple idea with a big payoff: what we eat plays a central role in how well our bodies defend themselves.

Leading the session was Nutrition Dietitian Cristina Gonzales, who walked participants through how balanced nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits, and proper hydration work together to strengthen the body’s natural defenses. She began with the essential nutrients behind immune health, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and protein, and explained how each helps keep the body functioning at its best.

“Good nutrition is one of the foundations of a strong immune system. Consistent healthy eating habits can help the body function at its best and better protect itself against illness.” – Cristina Gonzales, Nutrition Dietitian

Ms. Gonzales offered guidance on meal planning, choosing nutrient-dense foods, reading nutrition labels, and folding healthier habits into daily routines. She encouraged a balanced diet rich in variety, from fruits and vegetables to whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy.

Tying the message together was a line she highlighted from Hippocrates: “Let food be thy medicine, and thy medicine shall be thy food.”

Quick Tips: Daily Habits for a Stronger Immune System

  • Fill your plate with variety: fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy.
  • Choose nutrient-dense foods rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and protein.
  • Plan meals ahead and read nutrition labels to make informed choices.
  • Use supplements to complement a balanced diet rather than replace it.
  • Stay physically active and maintain a healthy weight.
  • Get enough sleep so your body can recover and recharge.
  • Avoid smoking and limit alcohol.
  • Stay well hydrated throughout the day.

Lady Denize Guerrero, Customer Service Representative

May 2026

When Lady Denize welcomed her first child, she knew she wanted a career path that would let her stay close to home without putting her professional goals on hold. Four months postpartum, she began her journey at Intelassist as a Customer Service Representative, and what followed has been two years of growth she didn’t expect to find so quickly.

She was initially hired to support a Hong Kong-based client in a full-time remote capacity, working as the bridge between restaurants, delivery partners, and guests through their in-house app. Her responsibilities included resolving order issues, optimizing logistics, and making sure every customer interaction was handled smoothly. It was a role that pushed her to build strong working relationships and sharpen her professional skills, and she took full advantage of both.

When that chapter came to an end after several months, she prepared to move on. What happened instead is a good reflection of how Intelassist operates. Rather than letting her go, the company offered her a new opportunity with a US-based healthcare account. In this role, she assists healthcare providers, radiologists, and medical personnel with patient exams and results. The work is significantly more demanding given the critical nature of patient care, but the sense of purpose it carries is something she describes as truly unparalleled.

A piece of advice from her Mission President, given six years ago during her time as a full-time missionary, has stayed with her throughout her career. He told her not to be selective with the work that comes her way, and that every role is an opportunity to develop personally and professionally. If a job brings happiness and allows her to provide for her family, it’s worth embracing as a step toward her larger goals. That perspective has shaped how she approaches every opportunity, including the ones she didn’t initially see coming.

What she found at Intelassist was a company willing to meet her where she was. They accepted her with everything she had on her plate, invested in her growth, and gave her the tools and support she needed to take on more responsibility over time.

Two years in, she says the genuine care the company has for its employees hasn’t changed. Her team leaders have been understanding during difficult moments and consistent in their belief in her potential. It’s the kind of leadership she considers rare, and she doesn’t take it lightly.

Outside of the work itself, Lady Denize sees her time at Intelassist as something that has shaped her into a more well-rounded person. The roles she’s held, the challenges she’s worked through, and the team she’s grown alongside have all contributed to who she is today, both professionally and personally.

Her message to new employees is simple but sincere: keep pushing until you discover your potential. The road won’t always be smooth, but if you keep moving forward, you’ll eventually find the answers to your why. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.

May Town Hall: A Season for Recognition, A Moment for Moms

May 8, 2026

Culture doesn’t build itself in the quiet moments; it shows up in how a team treats each other when the spotlight is on, and how much room is made to simply say thank you. That mix was on full display at our latest Town Hall, hosted by Operations Director June Sarmiento, which brought the team together to close out a strong month and share a few important updates for the quarter ahead.

The afternoon opened with laughter courtesy of Sr. Team Leader Chin Bandrang’s “Bring Me” game. Employees raced the clock to snap and share photos of random items—a photo of maternal affection, a sky-high electric bill, a well-worn ice cream container repurposed one too many times, a nearly-empty lipstick tube that’s outlasted generations, a ladle with a melted tip still in daily rotation—small, funny, and honest all at once.

Operations Manager Des Montoya used the time to share a few housekeeping updates: employees are asked to keep their MIS photos and signatures current to support smooth ID processing for new hires, and (in a bigger shift) town halls will now move from monthly to quarterly. The change gives employees more time to build their numbers, gives team leads room to prepare more thoughtful nominations, and gives managers a clearer view when selecting awardees, all in service of recognition that feels more meaningful and fair. Team leads were also encouraged to keep nominations coming, with hope for more names from the RADP team next quarter, and a town hall feedback survey was shared for employees to weigh in.

Angeline Cabrera of Employee Relations followed with a refresher on attendance expectations, notifying a supervisor before a shift or within 30 minutes of it starting, giving at least a day’s notice for planned absences, logging in and out at the workstation on company-issued equipment, and providing documentation for medical leave. She also reminded the team that salary and internal employment matters stay confidential, with any concerns routed through a supervisor or the proper channel.

Then came the part of the afternoon this culture is built around: recognizing the people who made March a standout month, not just for what they delivered, but for how they delivered it.

The Trusted Partner Award, given for reliability, transparency, and consistent follow-through, went to Edilbert Tawatawo and Winston Navarro. Edilbert was recognized for hitting every KPI while excelling in attendance and quality. Winston was recognized for catching and escalating issues before they became problems. Janeline Rose Niño, Lolette Reyes, and Mikael were also honored as nominees.

The People and Performance Award, recognizing high output paired with a supportive team presence, went to Grace Shella Hernandez and Janine Vidal. Grace was praised for strong ownership and efficiency while still guiding teammates through process questions, and Janine for quietly covering urgent tasks each morning and making sure no one gets left behind. Christian Valiante was also recognized as a nominee.

The Values Excellence Award, the company’s most distinguished recognition, went to Jizelle Jumaquio and Edsen Versoza Jr. Jizelle was commended directly by a client for her attention to detail and proactive support of others, while Edsen earned praise from a client’s own client, who called him one of the most polite people she’d spoken with in a long time. Janine Dominguez and Rowell Hinampas were also recognized as nominees.

Country Manager Cherrie Salazar closed the session with thanks to the day’s contributors, including Director of Marketing Adrianne Mendiola, the HR and Employee Relations teams, host June Sarmiento, Renz Alvaran on music, and Des and Chin for the icebreakers. Her warmest words went to the team members who show up every day regardless of what they’re facing, a reminder that the company couldn’t serve its clients without them. She closed with a happy Mother’s Day to every mom and mother figure across Intelassist, and gratitude for everything they carry, at home and at work.

A Father’s Day to Remember

June 19, 2026

Work took a cheerful pause on June 19 as Intelassist came together to celebrate the fathers in its ranks. The men who clock in every day at the office and then go home to do it all over again for their families. The Father’s Day Gift-Giving Special brought the company’s appreciation to life in the most personal way possible: face to face, gift in hand, with a genuine thank you.

Fatherhood brings its own kind of quiet strength: the early mornings, the long days, the constant balancing act between professional responsibility and family life. This celebration set out to acknowledge all of it, making sure the fathers among us felt valued not just as employees, but as the people they are beyond the workplace.

The words from recipients said everything:

“Receiving this gift made my day. Thank you for making us feel appreciated for our efforts both at work and at home.”

The ripple effect extended well beyond the gifts. Employee morale got a visible lift, camaraderie across teams strengthened, and the company’s culture of appreciation was brought into sharp focus. It served as a reminder that Intelassist doesn’t just invest in what its people produce. It invests in who they are.

“Thank you for recognizing and appreciating us. Simple gestures like this make us feel valued not only as employees but also as fathers.”

Because at the end of the day, that’s what this was really about, making sure no one went unnoticed. The Father’s Day Gift-Giving Special was a small event with a big heart, and it delivered exactly what it set out to do: remind every dad at Intelassist that the work they do, both here and at home, is seen, appreciated, and worth celebrating.

Celebrating Philippine Independence Day

June 12, 2026

Every year on June 12, the Philippines pauses to remember a moment that changed everything. It was on this date in 1898 that General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed Philippine independence in Kawit, Cavite, a declaration that gave voice to a nation’s long-held dream of freedom and self-determination. More than a century later, that moment still resonates, still inspires, and still reminds every Filipino of what their people fought for and what they continue to stand for.

For the team at Intelassist, many of whom call the Philippines home, Independence Day carries a meaning that is both historical and deeply personal. It is a celebration of identity, of a culture defined by resilience, warmth, and an extraordinary capacity to rise. The Filipino spirit, known the world over through the word bayanihan, speaks to a people who have always found strength not in spite of hardship, but through it and alongside one another.

That spirit is not just something Filipinos carry with them; it is something they actively bring into the workplace. The bayanihan instinct to show up for others, to pitch in without being asked, and to treat colleagues as community rather than competition is woven into the everyday rhythm of how Intelassist operates. It shows up in teams that go the extra mile for each other, in a culture where no one is left to figure things out alone, and in the genuine sense of camaraderie that makes this company feel like more than just a place to work.

In many ways, the values Intelassist holds closest, collaboration, dedication, and a deep respect for people, are values the Filipino culture has long championed. Independence Day is a fitting moment to recognize that connection and to appreciate how much the Filipino members of this team bring to the table, not just in skill and output, but in character and heart.

On this Independence Day, we celebrate not just a historical milestone, but the people who carry that legacy forward every single day.

Pride Month at Intelassist

June 2026

In celebration of Pride Month, Intelassist launched “Pride of Color Posting Contest”, an online event where employees were asked to create a Pride-inspired look featuring their own fashion, makeup, and styling, and to pair it with a meaningful caption telling the story behind their inspiration.

This year’s Pride of Color winner was Manny Juliano. His colorful handcrafted floral details, bold styling, and heartfelt caption reflected something far deeper than fashion. In his post, Manny opened up about overcoming grief and rediscovering happiness after losing someone he deeply loved. His story is one of courage, the kind that comes from choosing to heal, grow, and continue living fully even after life’s most difficult moments.

“Being authentic means allowing yourself to shine without fear. It means breaking free from the things that once held you back and choosing to live with love, courage, and honesty.” – Manny Juliano, Trainer

A Message to the Intelassist Community

As we close out this year’s Pride Month celebration, let us carry its spirit forward. Championing diversity, lifting one another up, and building a workplace where everyone feels empowered to be proud of who they are. May Pride inspire us to celebrate our unique journeys, spark positive change, and spread kindness, acceptance, and hope, not only in June, but every day of the year.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at Intelassist!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Joemar Patayan, Architect

May 2026

Joemar came to Intelassist through a friend’s invitation, and what started as a new opportunity turned out to be a setup that genuinely fits his life. The night shift, the work-from-home arrangement, and the flexibility it brings aren’t just perks for him. For an architect who describes himself as an introvert, and a father to a four-year-old daughter, it’s exactly the kind of environment where he can do his best work.

As part of the team, his core responsibility is making sure clients have exactly what they need on their projects. That means keeping communication clear, flagging issues before they become problems, and coming to the table with solutions rather than just updates. It’s a role that calls for both technical precision and honest, proactive communication, and he takes both seriously.

That philosophy was shaped over time. Joemar reflects that every project he’s worked on has been memorable in its own way, not because some were easy and others were hard, but because that distinction never really held up. What actually determines the outcome, he’s found, is coordination. Getting clear on the details before diving in, making sure everyone is aligned, and never assuming something is simple just because it looks that way at first.

When doubt crept in earlier in his career, his mom pointed him to Colossians 3:23-24. The verse grounded him in something straightforward: give your best to whatever you’re doing, and trust that the rest will follow. That perspective has stayed with him and quietly shapes how he approaches his work, especially on the harder days.

For Joemar, what sets Intelassist apart comes down to two things: the night shift and the work-from-home setup. As an architect and a self-described introvert, the combination suits him well. His mornings are free, which means more time with his family and especially with his four-year-old daughter. The hours that others might find difficult are, for him, exactly what make this job work.

Outside of work, he’s either playing with his daughter or picking up his guitar. It’s a quiet life by design, and he seems to prefer it that way.

His belief about contributing to the team is simple and direct. Your output speaks for you. At the end of the day, the work you put out carries not just your name but the company’s name and reputation along with it. It’s a standard he holds himself to, and one that shows in how he approaches every project that comes his way.
