CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Intelassist Strengthens Community Ties with School Donation

January 7, 2026

As part of our corporate social responsibility initiative, we recently partnered with Bagumbayan Elementary School in Quezon City to deliver essential Brigada materials and two TV racks, providing much-needed support for the school’s daily activities and enhancing learning environments for students.

Planning for the initiative began in November 2025, when the HR team visited the school to meet with the principal and discuss the school’s priority needs. During the visit, the principal shared that the school required cleaning materials and equipment to support classroom upkeep, as well as TV racks to help organize their multimedia resources. With budget approval secured, the Engagement Team procured 40 gallons of floor wax, a variety of cleaning supplies, and the two TV racks.

On the day of the event, team members Giljane Aducal, Isabel Gutierrez, Joel Pahinte, and Paul Dizon personally delivered the materials and ensured everything was properly set up. The donation was formally handed over to the school and received warmly by the principal.

This initiative not only addressed immediate school needs but also strengthened Intelassist’s presence as a socially responsible organization. By providing resources that support a cleaner, more organized learning environment, the company is helping create conditions where students can thrive academically and feel proud of their school.

Initiatives like this also foster stronger ties between local communities and the corporate sector, showing that businesses can play a meaningful role in shaping positive outcomes for education and development.

“Being able to provide these resources reminds us why corporate social responsibility is so important; we’re not just a company, we’re part of the community,” shared one of the participating team members.

Health Matters with Annual Physical Exam (APE)

January 12–15, 2026

Intelassist held its Annual Physical Exam at the Eastwood office, bringing essential health services directly to employees through an onsite setup. Conducted in partnership with Sto. Domingo Clinic, the event allowed employees to complete their check-ups conveniently at work, reducing the need to travel and making preventive care more accessible.

A total of 1,126 employees were screened, including regular and probationary employees, team members on maternity leave, and employees from outside NCR. The clinic provided comprehensive medical services, including vital signs monitoring, laboratory tests, optical exams, physical assessments, ECG, Pap smear, and chest X-ray procedures. These screenings help monitor overall health, detect potential concerns early, and ensure employees remain fit to work.

Turning the office into a makeshift health center meant carefully preparing designated testing areas to maintain both efficiency and privacy. A structured flow guided employees through registration, testing, consultation, and completion. Many employees were able to complete the entire process in about two hours, allowing them to return to work with minimal disruption.

The activity involved extensive coordination and preparation. Ailie Domingo, with the help of Nurse RJ, led the venue preparation and coordination with internal teams and Sto. Domingo Clinic representatives, working closely with department leaders to organize employee batch schedules and prepare communications, guidelines, and reminders to help employees understand the process and come prepared for their examinations.

Employees shared that the process was smooth, organized, and faster than expected. The onsite setup made the examinations more convenient, and many appreciated being able to ask questions and receive advice directly from healthcare professionals.

The Annual Physical Exam is an important part of Intelassist’s commitment to employee wellbeing. By making healthcare accessible and efficient, we are able to support early detection, promote health awareness, and help employees take a more active role in caring for their health.

Webinar on “Building Better Workdays from Home”

February 21, 2026

Intelassist employees came together on February 21 for a company-wide webinar focused on a topic that continues to shape the way many teams work today: the ergonomics of a work-from-home setup. Held via MS Teams and led by Dr. James Edward Sison, the session provided a thoughtful and practical look at how employees can create healthier, more sustainable work environments at home.

Dr. Sison opened the session with the fundamentals of ergonomics, emphasizing that a well-designed workspace goes beyond comfort and plays a critical role in long-term health and productivity. He walked participants through the essentials of proper workstation setup, including chair height, monitor positioning, and keyboard placement, explaining how these small but important adjustments can significantly reduce strain on the body.

Dr. Sison also addressed the most frequent health concerns associated with prolonged screen time and remote work, including back and neck pain, eye strain, and fatigue. Dr. Sison broke down the root causes of these issues and walked through preventive measures that employees can easily incorporate into their daily routines, including maintaining proper screen distance and improving lighting conditions to taking intentional breaks and doing simple stretching exercises.

One of the highlights of the webinar was its interactive segment, where participants were encouraged to share their own work-from-home challenges. Dr. Sison responded with tailored advice and practical solutions, helping attendees apply ergonomic principles to their specific situations.

Beyond individual learning, the session reflected Intelassist’s continued focus on supporting employee well-being in a remote work environment. By equipping employees with the knowledge and tools to improve their workspaces, the webinar reinforced the idea that productivity and health are closely connected. The strong participation and positive feedback from attendees highlighted the relevance of the topic and the value of creating opportunities for learning that directly impact daily work life.

The webinar was widely appreciated for its clear, engaging, and practical approach. Employees found the content easy to follow, and many noted how immediately applicable the tips were to their own setups. The success of the session also opens the door for future initiatives, such as follow-up discussions or hands-on workshops, to further support employees in building healthier work habits.

COMPANY INITIATIVE

HMO Awareness

March 2026

Intelassist held the quarterly HMO orientation designed to help employees better understand the healthcare coverage available through the company’s Medicard plan.

The orientation provided a walkthrough of the company’s HMO program, focusing on how employees can properly access and use their healthcare benefits. Topics included outpatient and inpatient coverage, consultations with accredited doctors and hospitals, laboratory and diagnostic services, and procedures for seeking medical care during emergencies. The session also covered important guidelines such as eligibility requirements, dependent enrollment, and reminders on proper HMO utilization.

Many attendees were new employees who wanted to understand their healthcare coverage as they began their roles at Intelassist, while several existing employees joined to refresh their knowledge of the HMO program.

The session also included an open forum where employees were encouraged to raise questions and clarify concerns related to their Medicard benefits. Questions ranged from consultation procedures and hospital visits to laboratory testing and dependent enrollment. Feedback gathered during the discussion was documented by the HR team and will be reviewed as part of ongoing conversations with the HMO provider ahead of the upcoming renewal in June 2026.

The quarterly orientation continues to serve as an important touchpoint for employees to learn about their healthcare benefits and how to use them effectively. By providing clear guidance and a space for discussion, the session helps ensure employees are informed and supported when it comes to their health and wellbeing.

March Town Hall: Celebrating the People Behind Our Company Culture

March 2026

We believe that a strong company culture is what brings strategy to life. You can have the best plans in place, but without a team that shares the same mindset and values, even the strongest strategy can fall short. That’s why we make it a point to invest time and effort in recognizing the individuals who help drive, protect, and enrich our company culture every day.

During our March Town Hall, we came together to celebrate team members who consistently embody what it means to be a part of Intelassist. These are the people who don’t just meet expectations, but actively shape the way we work, collaborate, and support one another.

At the heart of this recognition is our Employee Recognition Program, a monthly initiative designed to highlight employees who model our core values while delivering strong performance. To ensure that recognition is both meaningful and earned, nominees must meet key performance standards, maintain a clean record for the month, and, for certain awards, receive direct commendation from clients. It’s a process that reflects both excellence in output and integrity in how that work is achieved.

Three awards anchor this program, each representing a different but equally important part of our culture.

  • The Trusted Partner Award is given to individuals who demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a strong sense of collaboration. They are the people others can count on, no matter the situation.
  • The People and Performance Award recognizes those who consistently deliver high-quality results while uplifting their team, proving that productivity and a positive work environment can go hand in hand.
  • The Values Excellence Award celebrates employees who fully embody Intelassist’s core values in everything they do, serving as role models for the behaviors that strengthen our culture as a whole.

This month, we are proud to recognize our Trusted Partner Awardees: Joemar Patayan, Anthony Figueroa, Lady Denize Guerrero, Danica Ibay, Amarie Ventula, Rayson Tancasis, and Ma Theresa Tejero. Each of them represents what it means to contribute not just to results, but also to the kind of workplace we continue to build together.

Our People and Performance Awardees: Daryl Esparagoza, Winston Navarro, Jowell Bandang, Moesha Cordez, Anne Paula Dela Rosa, and Christian Cristobal demonstrate that strong results and team support can go hand in hand, setting the standard for both productivity and collaboration.

Our Values Excellence Awardees, Michelle Raymundo, Janine Dominguez, Lholette Reyes, and Danielle Doroja, continue to lead by example, consistently embodying Intelassist’s core values in every interaction.

More than just a moment on stage, these recognitions are part of a larger effort to build a culture where excellence is seen, appreciated, and encouraged. Each milestone contributes to a bigger journey, where consistent performance, strong values, and positive influence are acknowledged over time, even contributing to our Employee of the Year selection.

As we continue to grow, one thing remains clear: our success is not just defined by what we achieve, but by how we achieve it. And through initiatives like this, we ensure that the people who make that possible are recognized every step of the way.
